ABOUT ORNAMENT CENTRAL

Ornament Central is a line of original, unique, high quality ornaments available for wholesale purchase only. We have been in the business of designing, making, and selling character and family ornaments for more than 24 years. 

Our ornaments are made of strong, long-lasting, yet lightweight polyresin.  Each ornament is our own unique design, and each one is hand-painted to our precise specifications.

THE PROCESS: 

Each of our ornaments is designed by our owner.  This is important to us, as one designer means there is a continuity to our designs that makes them unique.  She begins with sketches of each idea, followed by colored drawings.  When she has completed the sketching and full color 2-D design, she proceeds to the next phase.  At this point she hand sculpts the design, working and reworking until she is completely satisfied with the look.  When she is happy, we outsource the design to a polyresin factory overseas.  There, a mold is made of each figure, the piece is cast in polyresin, and each ornament is painted individually, by hand. 

WHY YOU MIGHT PAY A LITTLE MORE FOR ORNAMENT CENTRAL ORNAMENTS

Our ornaments are more detailed than most of the ornaments available; our retail buyers tell us that their customers appreciate the quality and detail of our unique designs. More importantly, unlike many companies, Ornament Central does not deal directly with the factories doing our work.  Instead, we employ a sourcing agency based in Hong Kong.  Although this adds to the cost of our ornaments, the sourcing agency provides key services that we could not do on our own. 

• They find and oversee polyresin factories.

• They are directly involved in the manufacturing of all of our ornaments, from initial design to finished product.

• Their quality control department visits the factories regularly, to check quality several times throughout the production process.  They make certain that the last ornament completed at each factory is of the same high quality as the original design that Ornament Central approved. 

When we began Ornament Central, we did extensive research to find the best sourcing agency, and one that would allow us the most quality control.  We think you will find that our research was worth it.
